Oldham Promoted at Mutual of Omaha
OMAHA, Neb. – Tom Oldham has been promoted to Chief Compliance, Privacy and Ethics Officer at Mutual of Omaha. He supervises senior leadership in charge of compliance functions related to Insurance, Securities, Medicare and Mortgage. Oldham provides leadership and strategic direction, overseeing the creation, implementation and operation of a comprehensive Compliance Management System (CMS) across the entire enterprise with a primary goal to manage compliance risks and ensure the organization adheres to both current and emerging Federal and state regulatory requirements. Oldham joined Mutual in April 2012 as a Compliance Consultant. He was promoted to Director of MOIS Securities Compliance in 2012, promoted to Director of Compliance and Risk Operations in 2017 and promoted to Director of Enterprise Privacy and Compliance Risk in 2020. Before joining Mutual, he held compliance positions at Pacific Life Insurance Company and Securities America. Oldham attended Creighton University and was selected in the 8th round of the 2003 Major League Baseball draft by the Seattle Mariners. While in the Seattle Mariners organization and through a partnership with Major League Baseball, he earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix. Oldham holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 53 and 66 FINRA registrations and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US), International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAAP), Certified Regulatory and Compliance Professional (CRCP), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU).
